Ricky was a very good friend and mentor to me.
I was very young (16-17) when I met Ricky.
He was a leader and shared his wisdom with me by the example of how he lived his life.
I am saddened by the loss of his friendship.
But hope to see him again in Heaven.
He is with the Lord. Hallelujah!!!

My "favorite" pledge trainer.
Did not like me as a pledge, but we
grew to love each other as Alumni
brothers. Will miss you, Rick!

Grew up down the street from Ricky & his parents. So glad Ricky made it back to Big Spring in 2013 to be inducted into the BSHS Hall of Fame for being a member of the great 1963 Steers football team. RIP, Ricky.
