Slotter, Robbie C.

Born November 21, 1933 and left this temporary place on February 12, 2016. Survived by twin daughters Melissa Coody and Christina Shoemaker (Jimmy).

Melissa’s children Tyler and Megan. Christina’s children James, Bailey Cochrum (Bryan), Jason and great grandson Jacob Cochrum.  Numerous other extended family members.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe and grandson, Jake Shoemaker.

She was well known within the Cedar Hill community for over 40 yrs. She was the founder of “Cops and Robbies” and was recognized for her efforts by Clarice Tinsley’s hometown hero in 2001.  She volunteered a lifetime of hours to such things as youth activity organizations, food pantry, city committees, and CHPD.   She loved her family and would do anything to help someone.  If she was your friend you had a friend for life.  Although our hearts are broken we know we will see her again.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Cedar Hill Historic Society, 1st Methodist Church of Cedar Hill or the Cedar Hill food pantry.  A memorial service will be March 5th, 2pm at the 1st Methodist Church of Cedar Hill.
